Dorsal coloration varyingfrom rich golden brown to light reddish brown, but becoming paler on the lower sides. Head darker, dark line through eye. often a suggestion of a narrow dark stripe down the center of back and another on each side of body on the third row of scales. Belly plain yellow. Scales smooth; anal divided.
